Education Summit
Choose the registration option that works best for you:
$30 per participant (lunch included), or $50 per participant with an Education Summit T-shirt (lunch included)
Check-in begins at 9:00 AM in the Northwestern HS Band Room, followed by a brief welcome meeting. Afterward, Percussion Clinic participants will head next door to Rawlinson Road Middle School for their clinic sessions, while all other participants remain at Northwestern for their scheduled classes.
Clinics and Professional Development sessions begin at 10:00 AM, and the Summit will conclude at 5:00 PM.
For CWEA Students, Performers, Directors and Instructors
Attendees will enjoy a full day of growth, performance, and connection. With hands-on Spin and Percussion Clinics and engaging Professional Development sessions, the Education Summit is an opportunity to learn from some of the best in the activity and take your skills to the next level.
Color Guard students will enjoy a Spin Clinic led by the 2026 staff and cast of Étude Winterguard. Classes will be offered for all skill levels in dance, flag, rifle, and sabre. The clinic will feature two show-and-tell segments to showcase what participants learned!
Percussion students will enjoy a Percussion Camp led by the 2026 staff and cast of Civitas Independent. Classes will be held for front ensemble and battery students. The camp will also feature a show-and-tell segment to showcase what participants learned during the clinic! Percussion participants will meet for check-in at Northwestern High School. After check-in and a brief meeting in the auditorium, percussion clinic participants will walk over to Rawlinson Road Middle School for the clinic sessions.
The Professional Development Summit is free for CWEA directors and instructors of units in all divisions (Color Guard, Percussion, and Winds) and classes. What to expect: Networking and educational sessions by industry-leading professionals, plus free lunch!
